From Our Family To Yours,
A few of my favorite memories come from family trips to the Middle East with my family. And, more importantly, to a sweet little sweets shop in Jordan.
As soon as the doors opened, the rich scents of bittersweet chocolate and powdered sugar met in the air. With its neatly stocked shelves and elaborate gift packaging, we took our time to pick out pastries and chocolates our family and friends could enjoy back at home.
We always felt like family while we shopped, and we remained loyal because we knew each bite was the work of carefully selected ingredients and craftsmanship of the locals who took pride in their edible art.
During one of my regular trips to the shop in the summer of 2017, I decided it was time to bring the goodness of those sweets in Jordan home to Houston, Texas. However, I didn’t want to simply copy the feelings and flavors I became familiar with by using lesser quality ingredients. I knew I needed to embody them in every way possible to provide the same premium products I know and love.
